You can read the findings of the last Procurement Event here – very insightful. The format will be to break into discussion groups with both public and private sector people. The findings will be written up and published immediately post event this year.

08:35 – 4 x 5 min Ignite presentations representing various views*:

09:00 – Break Out 1 – broken into groups on the following topics

Barriers and challenges: what’s currently working well and what are the challenges?

09:45 – Report back: summaries from each working group

10:10 – Morning tea

10:40 – Keynote speech (NZRise) – Ben Hayman on the Government Digital Service UK Journey and Leveraging Local for Sustainability

10:55 – Break out 2 – broken into groups on the following topics

Solutions and future state

  • What can we adopt locally?
  • Driving change in the sector and government
  • What would success look like in 2022?

11:40 – Report back: summaries from each working group

Midday – Close and next steps: NZRise
