NZRise is thrilled to be organising and sponsoring the ICT Government Procurement Seminar again this year. The theme is:
Working together to grow the NZ tech sector.
The event is open to not only NZRise members and employees of NZ Government agencies but anyone who does/wants to/is/trying to engage with the government on ICT procurement, please register as numbers are limited. By the way – it’s FREE!
Wednesday 12 September, 8am – 1pm.
If you are a NZ owned company working in the digital technology space and wanting to see the sector grow, this is an event you want to participate in. It is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with NZ Government Procurement Leaders – as well as those who direct NZ Government procurement decisions, opportunities and activities that exist to be leveraged or can be created to work together and grow the NZ tech sector.
The agenda
The half-day will feature a mixture of small group workshops, ignite talks and discussion panels featuring representatives from the Department of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, as well as local tech sector businesses.
Agenda 2018 NZRise procurement workshop
Call for speakers
The speaking commitment is for a series of 5 minute presentations, on a topic that will trigger a table discussion in line with the theme of “Working together to grow the NZ Tech Sector”. It’s a chance to get air for your pet topic and have a roomful of people discuss, debate and present back on what could be done to make it happen.
If you are available to present please let Shane Ross, the 2018 Event Organiser know via email to [email protected].
