What do NZ owned ICT companies need to do to make themselves more attractive for Government ICT projects?
Chris Buxton is the Chief Digital Officer for Statistics New Zealand. Chris – together with a couple of other Government Agency CIO’s/CDO’s will talk on where they see the benefits and risks of procuring from New Zealand owned businesses – and what NZ ICT companies need to do to mitigate these risks. Chris will talk to the caveats/constraints Government CIO’s work under and how New Zealand owned ICT companies can help navigate these.
Because of the nature and openness of the discussion, this event will run on the Chatham House rule basis.
Event details are:
4:30pm to 5:30pm – Registration, drinks, nibbles
5:00pm to 6:00pm – Presentation from Chris Buxton and other Government agency CIO’s
6:00pm to 6:30pm – Networking.
